Welcome to my creative journal!! This is where I'll be documenting my research and experiences along with some reflections/writings - I feel like in the grand scheme of my career, work can get lost, forgotten and overshadowed by new projects, and so keeping a digital record of what I'm up to will be useful.
My main aims for this year are to build connections with my local art scene and to establish myself as a practicing, selling creative.

Based on Sheridan Le Fanus' 1972 gothic novella, Carmilla is an illustration depicting the passionate yet macabre romance between vampress Cramilla and her human lover, Laura. The story follows their strange, intimate yet undoubtedly unhealthy relationship and is a suprisingly socially aware book, covering subjects like female emotion and sexuality, the struggle of being a woman in the 1800's...
